Rohingya Students At Sittwe University Facing difficulties

Rohingya textile students are allowed to go with NVC, but they are not allowed to return. The students are in trouble now.

Rohingya students in Rakhine state from Maungdaw District who went to Sittwe University were allowed to go by NVC, but were banned from returning, according to the students who are in trouble.

Rohingya students from both Maungdaw and Buthidaung Townshis who went to study at Sittwe University in Sittwe were allowed to go with the NVC issued by the Rohingya as a lower class through the Rohingya government, but now they are banned from returning to home. It is reported that students who attended are having difficulty returning.

“Most of us come by Shwe Pyitan. There are also a few people who come by car from Angu Maw road. When we came, we were allowed to come by NVC. We were not allowed to go. And the relevant departments are extorting money. We are only forced to return through illegal routes. We came legally to attend public school. Extorting money and returning from illegal routes is just to torture the Rohingya people. The students are facing difficulties. I would like to urge students to open legal routes,” said a Rohingya student from Sittwe University.

The Rohingya who go to Sittwe University from all over Rakhine State are facing difficulties, and parents of students say that extorting money from students is a serious crime.
