The Arakan Army (AA) conducted meeting with the Rohingya villagers of Ngan Chaung Village in Northern Maungdaw Township and abducted three Rohingya villagers, including a woman on 23rd April 2024 .
An inhabitant of Ngan Chaung said that 16 AA members came with fully equipped and entered Ngant Chaung Rohingya village and met with the Rohingyas people from Ngan Chaung village and forcibly aggregated Rohingya residents at Ngan Chaung school at around 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
The AA delivered speech in the meeting that one or two youths per household must join with the Arakha Army AA and must serve according to the instructions of Arakha Army if the villagers want to live in Ngan Chaung village and the meeting was taken place in the school of Ngant Chaung village on 23rd April 2024. A meeting attendees who doesn’t want to name said that “30 Rohingya men attended the meeting as they were compelled and forced and their names were forcibly listed in the recruitment lists of the AA. The meeting attendees were threateningly told by the AA that “you must work and serve for Arakha Army if you want to live in Ngant Chaung village ”.
There are three Rohingya villagers who are collaboratively working with the AA are identified as Chairman Musa s/o Zurul Hoque, Yahaya s/o Azar Hussain and HF Kolim Ullah s/o Anu Miya and they are forcing the Rohingya villagers to serve for the AA,” said a resident of Ngan Chaung.
Simultaneously, the AA abducted three Rohingya villagers, including a woman from Gunna Fara hamlet of Ngan Chaung village in northern Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, Myanmar on the night of 23rd April 2024.
A family member of the victims said that more than 16 members of the AA with loaded weapons entered their houses and inspected the entire home but they got nothing which are opposite of them and the AA abducted the three Rohingya villagers, including a woman while the AA were returning after conducting meeting with Rohingya villagers of Ngan Chaung.
The Rohingya villagers who were abducted from Gunna Fara hamlet , Ngan Chaung Rohingya village, are identified as Mohammad Shakair s/o Solim Ullah, Mohammad Toyub s/o Eman Hussain and Aklama d/o HF Roshid Ahmed, who is sister the of Ali Bottu and wife of Mohammad Toyub. And these three Rohingyas were abducted by the AA on the night of Tuesday on 23rd April 2024 . He also added that The Rohingya villagers who were abducted from Ngan Chaung Rohingya village by the AA have been unknown their whereabouts since abduction.
Like this, other incidents are being happened everyday : Abul Kalom (50), Soyed (35), Abdul Amin (50), Islam (65) & Lukman Hakim (30) were detained by Arakan Army on 16th April from Thet Ye Oke, MDW & they were killed on 22nd April & thrown in the ponds of shrimp fishes in Akborjja village, MDW . Arakan Army started massacring Rohingya etc…
